9-11 July Village Hall

Art Exhibition to which all local artists are invited to show/sell their paintings. Usually about 250 paintings shown.

This coincides with the Annual Flower Festival at St. Michael's Church, together with the Primary School Fete. A VERY busy weekend, and with thousands of visitors to the village.

August Bank Holiday Sunday 29 August 12.30 - 21.00

Bell Meadow Rural Celebration:  The meadow opposite the Bell Pub is used for all rural exhibitors (flowers, wine, local crafts etc.) plus dog and bird shows, tug-of-war, live band and bar, car show, traction engine, horse rides, etc.etc. followed by Music in the Park in the evening. This event has been run in the village for 5 years, with attendance up each year. Last year there were over 2500 visitors.   

Village Hall Revue Saturday 13th November

An evening of local entertainment in the hall, with bar and refreshments. Local talent are invited to come along to entertain the village community. Children from the school open the show with songs. Seating for 100 persons only and always sold out well in advance of the day.
