All courses are 5 weeks long, the anger and anxiety groups have a charge of £10 for the 5 sessions and the other courses are free.
OUTDOOR GYM LOCATIONS
Meadowside Playing Field, Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree & Spa Road, Witham
Mid Essex NHS in partnership with Braintree District Council have launched 2 new outdoor gyms in Braintree and Witham. The 2 new outdoor gyms are open to the public at all times to help everyone get more active.
Over the coming weeks there will be organised taster sessions run by a qualified fitness instructor to give everyone the opportunity to :
· Confidently use the equipment
· Ask any questions
· Understand the benefits of using the equipment & find out how to maximise these benefits in minimum time

Community Transport Mini-Bus

Working in partnership with Braintree District Council, the Braintree Village Agents now have access to a fully accessible minibus with or without a driver, and will be offering the use of this service to the residents of Braintree District. All drivers are trained to MiDas standard (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme).
The Village Agents will be using the bus for shopping trips, group social events, or even days out to the seaside as the weather gets warmer. The Agents will be organising events using the bus in areas across Braintree, collecting residents and then dropping them off. Fares are subsidised on a not-for profit basis.

Shopper Bus Services
Essex County Council working in partnership with Braintree Community Transport have launched a total of seven new shopper bus services which operate in rural areas in Braintree. The routes have been identifed through the area Review and work with Braintree Communiuty Transport. A total of 32 communities will gain additional services, two communities gain two services. Care has been taken not to run serivices in competition with current services. The details of the routes have been finalised following discussion with parishes.

Essex Blind Charity Resources Centre

Location: Braintree Community Centre, Victoria Street, Braintree CM7 3HN
Open every Wednesday 10am to 1pm
Everyone is welcome to drop in for information and advice from our friendly volunteers, many of whom are visually impaired themselves. We also stock a wide range of useful equipment for visually impaired people which we can demonstrate and can be bought from the centre.
